Hello! My name is Candice. I am an undergraduate student at Grinnell College majoring in Psychology and Computer Science, concentrating in Statistics. My research interest lies in Human-Computer Interaction, Educational Technology, Social Psychology, and more generally, the impact of technology on society, human cognition, and behavior.
Outside of the classroom, I work as a research assistant for the Computer Science department, collaborating with Dr. Leah Perlmutter for a study on gender and equity in postsecondary Computer Science education. I am also a mentor at the Catalyst, an idea incubator at Grinnell College. I also work with the Title IX office on a mobile app to increase the accessibility of Title IX resources at Grinnell College. Lastly, I am also a collaborator of Home Re-Imagined, a podcast that collects stories about growing up in different parts of the globe.
